Dennis Bunger
District Conservationist
Dennis
serves as the District Conservationist for the Eaton Field Office. He has
worked there as the D.C. since 1986. Dennis'
main responsibility is implementing all USDA conservation programs.
Dennis directs field office technical operations in providing assistance to individuals and groups relating to resources conservation planning, application, and maintenance of conservation practices. He is also responsible for directing the implementation of all USDA conservation and Farm Bill conservation compliance programs. Dennis provides technical assistance to the Preble SWCD in developing and carrying out the District's comprehensive soil & water conservation programs.
Paul Decker
Civil Engineering Technician
Paul serves as a multi-county Civil Engineering Technician providing engineering assistance for the application of CRP and EQIP practices. He also provides consultative assistance to units of government, urban land users and consulting engineers.
Jeff Barnes
Soil Conservationist
Jeff serves as the Soil Conservationist for the Eaton Field Office. He is stationed in Darke County and works in Preble County three days out of every two weeks. Jeff's main responsibility is assisting with the EQIP and CRP workload.
Jeff spends his time developing Conservation Plans and working with the field staff on surveys and construction checks.
