Tree & Groundcover Sale: This is a great opportunity to buy saplings and groundcover for your property, school, church or organization at a relatively low cost. They can be used for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, reforestation efforts, conservation practices, and aesthetic purposes. If you would like to be notified of the next sale, and receive a copy of our newsletter, call our office (937-456-5159)and leave your name and address, or send an email. 

Pond Clinics:  This year's date for our Pond Clinic is June 3rd.  These programs are available to anyone with questions or concerns regarding their pond. 

Earth Day Event: This annual event is co-sponsored by Preble SWCD and the Preble County Solid Waste Management District in the spring. This all day event has been held at Pleasant Vineyard Ministries, Camden, OH for the past several years. All sixth graders in the county schools participate in this environmental educational event. 

Soils Judging Competition: Each year the District sponsors a soils judging competition for area high school FFA chapters. This event is usually held on a Preble County farm.

Annual Meeting: An open house will be held to highlight the District's accomplishments. An election is held to assign officers to the Preble SWCD Board of Supervisors. 

Preble County Fair: Each year the Preble SWCD sets up an educational display booth at the annual county fair in August.

Pork Festival Booth: "The Great Preble County Pork Festival" - Each year the Preble SWCD sets up an educational display booth at this event in September.
